The Battalion Commander is responsible for the overall day to day operations and mentors all Company Commanders of all Companies (Units) assigned to 1st Battalion. 

The Battalion Commander is responsible to the Brigade Commander and the Deputy Commander.

The Battalion Executive Officer (XO) is second in command of 1st Battalion and 
is responsible for the management of day-to-day activities.
                                                                        
The Battalion Executive Office (XO) is responsible to the Battalion Commander.

The Battalion Command Sergeant Major is the highest enlisted rank in the Battalion who is the enlisted advisor to the Battalion.
Commander and Battalion Executive Officer. The Battalion Command Sergeant Major serves as a monitor and advocate for the enlisted cadre and all cadets.

The Battalion Command Sergeant Major is responsible to the Deputy Commander.
